BLOG TOUR REVIEW | Misrule | Heather Walter | Malice #2

I have, unfortunately, had a few months of disappointing sequels, so when I got sent the absolutely stunning physical ARC of Misrule, I was equal parts excited and scared. I loved Malice the first time I read it, and when I reread it in preparation for Misrule, I loved it even more. And Heather Walter? She knocked it out of the park. This sequel absolutely stuck the landing.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW | The Kaiju Preservation Society | John Scalzi

I don’t know what I was expecting from this book, but it wasn’t what I got. What I got was an amazing, light-hearted and fun read that was like reading a bubblegum pop song. I loved every second of it. Even during the tense moments of this book, it stayed hilarious and the tone has me absolutely obsessed with this book. I can’t wait to clear some more of my TBR so I have an excuse to buy more of Scalzi’s work after reading this one.

REVIEW | Subject Twenty One | A.E. Warren | Tomorrow’s Ancestors #1

an invite for the blog tour for SUBJECT TWENTY ONE, and I signed up because I love sci-fi and the cover is pretty. Picked it up one evening to read a few chapters and get a feel for the writing and I read the entire thing in two sittings - I only stopped to sleep. I can't wait to get my hands on THE HIDDEN BASE, and I'm glad I don't have to wait long to read the sequel. Rating: 4 stars!

REVIEW | Cute Mutants Volume 2: Young, Gifted and Queer | SJ Whitby

I love these superqueeroes, and this is absolutely my favourite discovery of 2020. I adore this series and each book is better than the one before. I reviewed Cute Mutants Vol 1: Mutant Pride on the blog, here, and I've got a review of Cute Mutants Vol 3: The Demon Queer Saga coming out soon! These are an insta buy for me, and I recommend them highly. Rating: 5 stars!
