This book was everything I ever wanted. I won't pretend I didn't feel extreme trepidation when it came to reading the final instalment in my favourite fantasy series of all time. But I should never have doubted Jenn Lyons. THE DISCORD OF GODS is a perfect conclusion to a spectacular series, and I know that this series is going to be my chunky comfort reads for a long time now.
This series is one of my absolute favourite fantasy series of all time. This was one of my most anticipated releases of 2021, so when Tor sent me a copy early, I threw my entire TBR away to reread the series and jump into the next instalment.
September has disappeared already, and it's time to wrap up my reads. I read 25 books, a total of 8403 pages and my average rating was 3.88 out of 5 stars - not too bad.
The Memory of Souls is the third book in the A Chorus of Dragon series, following: book one, The Ruin of Kings which I reviewed last Wednesday; and book two, The Name of All Things which I reviewed last Friday! There are two more books to go in this epic fantasy series, and I can't wait for them - this one released earlier this month, so be sure to grab it while it's hot. Rating: 5 stars!
The Name of All Things is the second book in the A Chorus of Dragons series, following The Ruin of Kings, which I reviewed two days ago! We're continuing on my review series of this epic fantasy series as the third book, The Memory of Souls came out at the beginning of this month, and I'm urging you all to pick up this series! This review will be spoiler-free for The Name of All Things but may contain spoilers for The Ruin of Kings. Rating: 4 stars!
I received a finished copy of The Memory of Souls for review, and I'm a complete sucker for epic fantasy (especially with a dragon on the cover, I'm only SO strong), and so I'm marathon reading the entire series (at 600 pages each, too. Nobody tell my TBR). I had no idea what I was getting into, and honestly? It was a wild ride and nothing like I expected. Rating: 4 stars!
