REVIEW | Subject Twenty One | A.E. Warren | Tomorrow’s Ancestors #1

an invite for the blog tour for SUBJECT TWENTY ONE, and I signed up because I love sci-fi and the cover is pretty. Picked it up one evening to read a few chapters and get a feel for the writing and I read the entire thing in two sittings - I only stopped to sleep. I can't wait to get my hands on THE HIDDEN BASE, and I'm glad I don't have to wait long to read the sequel. Rating: 4 stars!

REVIEW | The Forward Collection

The Forward Collection is a fantastic collection of novellas, all fascinating and complex science-fiction stories reimagining the future. I listened to all of them on audible using kindle unlimited to get them for free in both audio and ebook. The audiobooks are all fantastically narrated and I highly recommend.

REVIEW | Cute Mutants Volume 2: Young, Gifted and Queer | SJ Whitby

I love these superqueeroes, and this is absolutely my favourite discovery of 2020. I adore this series and each book is better than the one before. I reviewed Cute Mutants Vol 1: Mutant Pride on the blog, here, and I've got a review of Cute Mutants Vol 3: The Demon Queer Saga coming out soon! These are an insta buy for me, and I recommend them highly. Rating: 5 stars!

BLOG TOUR REVIEW | The Key to Fear | Kristin Cast | The Key #1

I'll admit, my attention was caught by this gorgeous cover and by the tagline 'imagine a world where touching was illegal'. Perhaps for obvious reasons this seemed like it might be an interesting read and, despite what it might seem, was a good distraction from our viral pandemic. I hadn't read any of Kristin Cast's previous books, but I had heard of them and decided this was a good way to dip into her writing. Rating: 3.5 stars
